The Lundi trip hit all the right notes: major sights of Iceland, hiking and kayaking fun, great meals and comfy accommodations, fun group of like-minded travelers. Holly and Sölvi kept us on track; gave us a ton of information about Iceland’s history, geology, and culture; and made sure we were laughed along the way all while getting us out to see the best of Iceland’s south coast.

Everything from pick-up to drop off was fantastic! Joel, Jessi and Steve were affable, available and professional throughout the entire trip. They got to know each and every one of us and made us feel comfortable. They made sure we knew the schedules, weather and attire of each day, and expectations of each adventure. On future trips if we knew we could have these 3 guides we would most assuredly book with Austin Adventures year after year.

experience the adventure ahead. The organization of Hotels, lunches & dinners were excellent!!
I keep explaining to friends & family once home that all we had to do was get up in the morning & get dressed, Austin Adventures took care of Everything Else!! Thank You for a Wonderful Experience & allowing us to enjoy the beauty of the USA.

Just returned from our May 8 Lundi trip to Iceland and had a fantastic time! The trip was well organized, and the guides were very knowledgable. Our meals were delicious, hotels comfortable, and activities challenging. Highly recommend this journey with Active.

This is our second Active Adventures trip and it did not disappoint! Peru is a beautiful country and I loved everything about it. Our guide, Wilson, was very knowledgeable and did a wonderful job providing a good cultural experience. The hikes were perfect and provided a great way to see the countryside. The food throughout Peru was simply amazing. Exploring Machu Picchu was also a highlight. Our time in the Galapagos was unforgettable. Pepo, our guide, was fantastic. He’s from San Cristobal and was able to share his love for the islands which made for a rich experience. We snorkeled, hiked, kayaked & biked so it was my perfect kind of vacation! Thanks to Wilson & Pepo for giving us such a wonderful experience in Peru & the Galapagos!

I suspected before I joined Austin adventures on this trip that I would be unable to do the arduous work of hiking. Because of my age and my physical strength I was unable to participate in several of the hikes. Being slower than the main group I missed the guide

This was an amazing trip. The guides, Dave, Steve and Joel, were superb. They were knowledgeable, skilled and friendly. All the details were handled by them...meals, lodging, parking, passes, etc. We saw other tourists trying (and failing) to find parking or having to wait for tables at a restaurant while we breezed through. The hikes were wonderful. I especially liked Bryce, but all were spectacular. Perfect weather...I suspect it might get hot later on in the year. We went in early May. It was great!!
