The Condor trip was excellent! I love it. It was my first time on a hiking trip & I've chosen Patagonia - such a magical place & heavenly place for hiking. I guess being open minded & just going with the flow without worrying too much is the right attitude when it comes to hiking holidays because you really can't predict mother nature. I was lucky to have good weather & good company with the group. Both my guide Cynthia Valladares (our tour leader) & Cem Inal (our W-hike guide) are super super excellent, lovely people, patient & they just made my trip so much easier. The Condor trip itinerary was very well planned. I'm not disappointed & I would recommend "Active Adventures" for the Patagonia, South America hiking trip.

Normally a solo traveller so this was my 1st group tour and I found it so much more relaxing and enjoyable not having to drive, organise meals, accom etc. Every little detail of the trip was covered, our tour guide Andy was awesome, shared so much knowledge of the areas we travelled, was accomodating and adaptable, and a great cook. Jasmine who also joined us on the trip was lovely, such a pleasure travelling with her. I was after a tour with adventure and culture and it provided plenty of both. Already planning to do a South Island tour with Active Adventures in the future.

This is one of the best outdoor trips my wife and I have ever taken. The scenery to the trek sites is just fantastic and the trek routes are real great.
We had 2 of the best guides ever!! The driving, guiding and the food preparation were just superb - kudos to Dave and Jasmine :)

We had a fantastic time in Galapagos and enjoyed days packed with activities. This was our first trip using Active Adventures and we were impressed with well organised days, varied activites from bike riding, climbing volcano, kayaking, snorkelling and enjoying fantastic wild life in Galapagos. Pepo -our guide is extremely knowledgable and most lovely person who made our days fun and interesting. We enjoyed the variety of different islands visited and loved the taste of local life we were introduced to, including family tree house in highlands of San Cristobal and local restaurants sharing the benches with sea lions. Snorkelling with sea turtles, sharks and sea lions was unforgettable. The scenery was breathtaking with beautiful beaches, amazing rock creations of lava tunnels and tranquil bays and sunsets. Ocean kayaking was fun- watching penguins and blue boobies, pelicans waiting for fisherman's left overs....Each island brought its unique experience and history with it. We had opportunity to dive as well as snorkel and the trip organisers gave us plenty of opportunities to meet all our interest and needs. Our group of 10 was excellent size and felt more like a big family holiday. I would recommend Active Adventures to everyone as this was a fantastic activity holiday and a good value for money. The tour was organised with thoughtfulness by very friendly and knowledgeable staff. We felt safe and extremely well looked after. Thank you to every one and especially Pepo! Pepo, please give our regards to your dad who joined us for a bit of our trip. We will treasure the photo of him and Pepo in the giant tortoise shell!

We spent one week traveling around the North Island with Active Adventures. The tour was focused on the Maori culture and the incredible ancient forests. The tour took us to places that we never would have found on our own.

Truly a wonderful trip and thrilled to have ventured south first...conquering the Mt. Cook hike before the backpacking trek and Rodgers Ridge!
The professionalism, passionate, knowledge, class, humor, and unique touches from Andy and Mel along with the wonderful, eclectic group of people with whom I travelled made this the best adventure trip.
With that said, the South Island of New Zealand is clearly pristine and majestic and was the perfect land for the adventure story to unfold.
Ah, yes... great food; very important indeed! highly recommend this trip!

We usually travel on our own, but decided on this tour because it encompassed everything we were interested in doing. It was fantastic. We saw and did things we never would have done on our own. Dave and Tess escorted us from one incredible spot to the next. We really appreciated their professionalism, their friendliness and their knowledge. The food was exceptional and the accommodations very comfortable. I would suggest this tour to anyone.

8 days of intense activity but soooo worth it! Great company, amazing places and just sheer awesomeness - from hiking up mountains, biking around beautiful lakes to jumping off mountains, small planes, jet boats and sea kayaks. Laughs and spills coupled with the odd glass of New Zealand wine - what more could you ask for!
