This is hands down the most tiring and most exhilarating trip I have ever been on. The itinerary was very well organized with plenty to do. We also were blessed with awesome people in our group, and outstanding leadership from our guides. Elder and Danny were a wealth of knowledge and insight into the culture of the Quechua people and the history of Peru. I would not trade this trip for anything in the world. Other tour companies exist, but there is only ONE Active Adventures. Thanks for the great memories.

The Winter Rimu trip is well organised and takes you everywhere you would want to go in the South Island if you like the outdoors. The guides take care of everything and are really nice friendly people. They take you on a variety of hikes from one day to three day and different terrain and difficulty levels. You get to explore the back country of New Zealand and go to some places that you wouldn't find on your own as well as the main tourist sites as well. The food and accommodation varies from hotel to outdoors hut and restaurant to sandwiches/trangia stew but good all round and they did their best to cater for my gluten free diet. It is expensive for what you get on the trip but it is an excellent trip and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to visit New Zealand and make the most of their trip.

The Rimu Trip was amazing from start to end! The landscape, the people, our guide! Everything was perfect! Had a blast and would totally do it again! And a shout out to the people organizing all of this in the office - THANKS FOR YOU HARD WORK!

Booking the Jaguar Adventure was TOTALLY outside of my comfort zone. I am a well seasoned traveller but this was the first time I camped outdoors overnight, hiked more than a casual few miles and gave up a real shower for a beautiful nighttime sky. My guides were knowledgeable, patient and brought the country to life sharing their experiences growing up, living and now working in Peru.

I recently went on the Tortuga trip with my dad and it was an experience that will never be forgotten. The staff went out of their way to help when the airline lost my luggage, our guide (Pepo) was incredible with our diverse group, the food was fantastic and the Galapagos was more than I could have ever bargained for. Thank you Active Adventures, you gave us the opportunity to share something that will be in our hearts for the rest of our lives. It could not have been better.
