This trip was very busy without a lot of downtime which is how I like my vacations. Everything was extremely well organized and Jessica our trip leader was wonderful. We were blessed with unusually good weather - sunny and minimal wind most days which we hear is very unusual for Patagonia. Jessica chose fabulous restaurants for meals - we ate so much tasty food on this trip.

This was a bucket list trip and it surpassed even my wildest expectations. That said, I even surpassed my own expectations for what I could handle! Challenging days were interspersed with moderate hiking and some down time for shopping or just chilling out, catching up with photo editing and emailing.

AA lives up to its name. Active, adventurous. Holly and Emma our guides were flawless. Holly was very knowledgeable and kept us informed. Emma chef skills were tasty and healthy.
All activities were conducted in a timely manner. The iterinary was true to its word. Well informed of expectations. Guides were mindful of each other’s needs. I had a great time.

This was a bucket list trip for my friend and I. We wanted the activity, scenery, food and culture. AA delivered it all. Time on the bus was well spent learning about New Zealand, the land people and history. Holly and Emma worked hard to make every hike fun and sometimes quite challenging. Their meals were healthy, timely and plentiful.

We had a wonderful time in the Galápagos Islands. It exceeded our expectations in most every way mostly due to our fabulous guide Pablo - his enthusiasm is genuine for nature and the islands and he makes everything so fun. We really appreciated the small group (only 8 of us plus our guide and assistants).

Our week on the Galapagos Islands with Pablo was fantastic. The knowledge, history and insight was endless. All of our encounters with everyone assisting Pablo were courteous and ready to help in anyway they could. We learned so much about this part of our world and couldn't be happier with the experience.

The 14-day Patagonia Hiking Adventure trip was an experience of a lifetime! I chose the W-Trek Backcountry Hiking option with four nights in Refugios plus an optional glacier hike at Lake Grey ... Torres del Paine is just a spectacular national park! The second week in Los Glaciares National Park around Chalten with day hikes was also phenomenal, and provided great hotel accommodations and excellent restaurants!
All our guides were so professional and knowledgeable.
I cannot recommend this adventure enough!

This tour has it all from hiking to an amazing overflight of valleys to jet boating to a relaxing cruise through Milford Sound. Every day was something new and exciting but yet we also had time to absorb the awesomeness all around us at each activity. Active Adventures are true NZ experts and it shows on this trip from knowledgeable guides to secret little trails and the best areas to do a leg stretch when we had longer drives to dynamite food at every meal!

Patagonia is absolutely amazing and Active Adventures planned a stunning trip so that we could move through Chile and Argentina easily and efficiently. This was our first trip with a tour company and we often wondered how long it would have taken us to plan everything and how many hurdles we would have hit if we had not utilized a tour company. We had all the opportunities we could have hoped for to see the highlights of the region as well as many things that we would have missed had Active Adventures not had access. The guides were fantastic and had lots of local knowledge. Jessica, our overall trip guide, was amazing. She was friendly, kind, knowledgeable, kept us all on track, offered solutions to problems, and interpreted the language when we often could not. We loved not having to plan anything...we put our trust in Active Adventures and that allowed us to focus on the scenery, the food, the people, the hiking, and the enjoyment.

We had a wonderful trip on the South Island. Our guides, Holly and Max were fun and took great care of us. Each hike was better than the previous one. It felt like a best hits tour. Max fed us well and Holly got us to our destinations safely. We all had fun together.
We choose the option to go to the huts. I was a bit worried about how much food they would have us carry but it turned out to be minimal. The huts were a good experience and helped the group bond. Snow kept us from reaching the Angelos hut but the alternate Bushline hut was fun and we saw the most amazing rainbow.
Along the way, Holly told Maori myth stories and info about the history, geology, fauna and flora of New Zealand.

Memorable beyond words! Originally scheduled for November 2020, I couldn't wait for this adventure to begin. From start to end, Active Adventures was spectacular. Holly & Max were incredible guides, chefs, logisitcs, histroy and a few shenanigans thrown in. The ability to balance 11 different personalities with a smile with the long days! As Holly would say, "New Zeland, stop it!"
