I was nervous about zip lining and white water rafting for the first time but I am so glad I got to do those things with our children and grandchildren on this trip. I was very concerned that my husband would not get to experience Yellowstone because of the floods but the staff and our guides at Austin Adventures worked their magic and gave us the complete experience. Our guides took out all of the hassles of travel and were delightful companions.

Everything was well organized, and the itinerary was great! They were so accommodating with our various food allergies and differing athletic abilities, and all three generations of our family had a great time!

Of course, the experience starts with the most wonderful guides. They are not only knowledgeable, but enthusiastic and encouraging as well. They're also some of the most accommodating people I have ever come across.

Our trip was fantastic - largely due to our wonderful guides, Drake, Bryson and Lauren. They made the trip run smoothly and we felt well cared for at all times. They were knowledgeable and fun to talk to. We were also impressed by all the vendors we visited - Montana White Water, Flying Diamond Horse Guides in Paradise Valley and the hotels. (except the West Yellowstone hotel that was a last minute change)

Considering the conditions, we had a great experience. Did not get to stay in the park hotels, but got to see the sites that we though were important. Overall the guides made the difference! They did a fantastic job!

Since we were traveling the week flooding the flooding I am not sure our trip would have been possible without Austin Adventures. We contemplated cancelling and Megan talked us out of it. She took the time to walk me through the changes to the itinerary that could take place and asked that we put our faith in Austin Adventures. We are so glad we did, we could not have navigated the trip without them. It was amazing and we are still talking about it.

Our family of four just got home from our adventure trip to Iceland. It certainly lived up to the hype! The island is like no other place on earth. The beauty is difficult to put in to words. In addition, there are so many different landscapes on one small island. Our tour guide, Solvi, was top notch. He was fun and so knowledgeable about EVERYTHING. He even told us Icelandic epic stories while we were driving. His love of his country was so obvious and he seemed to have the same sense of awe as we did at each site we visited, even though he had been there many times before. The volcanoes, the falls, the national parks, the glaciers, there is just so much to see. The food was also delicious and we felt like we were getting to eat what the locals would eat. We had our kids ages 17 and 21 and they loved every minute of it too. That says it all right there! I highly recommend this trip and 100% you should add on the glacier hike. It was the highlight for all of us.

This really was a dream trip come true! The islands are physically gorgeous--never have I seen clearer or prettier water--and teeming with life. I've been to Africa and seen the big game, the "charismatic" animals and so was prepared to be under-whelmed by iguanas and tortoises. That turned out not to be true. They were all fascinating and beautiful. The sea lions are everywhere and definitely have senses of humor. And, of course, who cannot fall in love with blue-footed boobies? I suppose snorkeling was the main highlight when we had near perfect conditions and observed plentiful, colorful fish, huge sea turtles, eagle rays, white tipped sharks, and more. Yet, the hike up to Sierra Negra on Isabela was equally stunning while being utterly different from the beaches and ocean. Our guide, Pablo, was through-out the trip extraordinarily knowledgable and passionate about the islands and their unique habitats. I can hardly think of a thing I'd want to be different about this adventure. The people--our tour group--were great, too!

My trip to Alaska was a spectacular vacation and really exceeded my expectations in every way. The itinerary was perfect, our guides were professional and attentive, and the scenery and activities were amazing.

The only aspect that detracted from my experience with Austin Adventures were my frustrating experiences with the Travel Portal and arranging payment for the trip.

This was our second trip with austin and it surely met our expectations. Grace and Megan were very knowledgeable about the area and the history lessons were amazing. They were told with passion and that really makes any trip special. Anytime your lucky enough to learn from someone who loves what they do it makes for a great time.

I loved the itinerary and the location. It was a well thought out trip. We enjoyed the other guests too. The only negative was that by comparison (to the Yellowstone trip), the guides were less engaged with the guests and were less knowledeable about the location. They were unable to answer many questions or simply did not engage the guests unless they really needed to. The Yellowstone team was highly educated on the area and was constantly making an effort to be a part of the group. These guides kept to themselves more. I am not sure the three of them had a great connection which may have been part of the issue. We did have a hiccup the first day and they handled that very well and professionally and it did not affect the trip enjoyment.

The group got along very well and we laughed a lot. I enjoyed a full day away from the hotel and into the outdoors. The hiking and biking were spectacular and I could not have seen all the beautiful hidden places that our guides took us to if I was to do this trip alone or with a friend.

Our guides were wonderful. We were in Yellowstone National Park when flooding forced the park to close. Our guides put together a tour on the fly finding very good accommodations, made arrangements for alternative providers for the trip activities. They did quite well with the challenge of our group (we brought both the youngest and oldest members of the tour). I particularly enjoyed their sharing of expertise about wild life biology and behaviors.

I would rate this trip higher than a 10 if I was able to. We visited Yellowstone National Park during one of the three shut downs that has ever occurred in the park's history. The week that we visited there was historic flooding, and water levels were higher than they had been since the early 1900's in parts of the park. On Day 2 of our trip, all travelers were being evacuated. This could have led to our highly planned and anticipated trip being underwhelming, or worse yet, canceled. Instead, our guides, Heather, Katie, and Jamie pivoted and made it a trip that we'll remember for a lifetime.

We were originally supposed to spend our whole trip in Yellowstone National Park. When the part shut down, our guides worked tirelessly to plan a truly outstanding adventure to the Tetons, Jackson Hole, and Big Sky. Their choices of locations and activities were simply perfect, and truthfully, even better than our original itinerary. I can't stress enough how hard they worked (staying up almost all night, keeping positive attitudes, using all connections available to them), to make sure that we had an amazing trip. They listened and heard on our first day what folks were most excited to see and do (horse back riding, white water rafting), and made it happen.

We traveled as a family of 7, and ou

We had an amazing trip. Our guides, Moose, Derek and Kyle were fantastic. You did a wonderful job swapping gears when Yellowstone closed. We had friends calling to make sure we were safe and we were able to say that Austin Adventures and our guides had it covered.
