This was an eagerly awaited trip and did not disappoint! We had an incredible time with our amazing guides, Olivia and Danny and had the opportunity to make new friends to bond with beyond our Austin Adventure in Wyoming.

It is another awesome trip. Danny knows a lot about geology and he made the walk really fun. Restaurant choices are good and the hotels are all nice and clean. I am most impressed by the hotel in Teton. The program is also well planned to help us experience the best of these 2 parks. Guests are the best part and I make some friends. I hope this trip can be longer.

Some Con: Feel the ven is a bit crowded but it is expected. I feel probably Austin can pair one senior guide with one junior guide. Both guides are new to Austin so I felt some culture wasn't been fully planted inside their hospitality yet. I feel the logistic wasn't fully briefed and they didn't seem to know the plan or they didn't tell us to keep the flexibility. All our activities seemed accommodating for lunch and back to the hotel in the late afternoon.

Our trip to the Galapagos Islands was an exciting, unique, and educational adventure for the whole family. Each day was ended with the thought that it couldn't possibly get any better...and then the next day it did! First, the Active Adventures staff was excellent in helping us to plan and reschedule our trip (due to COVID). The booking staff and trip coordinators were responsive to all questions and concerns we had. The communication about trip preparation was excellent as well. Every single person we dealt with was polite, professional and knowledgeable, and we always received a reply in a timely manner. Once our trip actually began, we were also very well taken care of by the local guides. Pablo and Paulo were exceptional tour guides and human beings. Pablo's passion for the Galapagos Islands was infectious and his knowledge about the history, landscape, animals and plants was beyond incredible. He is a walking and talking Galapagos encyclopedia! Pablo was warm and welcoming and had a great sense of humor. He made sure we were getting the most out of each day while always keeping our safety in mind. He made sure we always knew what to expect and how to prepare for each day's adventure. While Pablo was the front man, Paolo's patience with each member of the group and tremendous work behind the scenes was instrumental to our enjoyable and worry free trip. From arranging meals and taking food orders to getting us all set up with the right equipment for snorkeling, bike riding or hiking, Paolo's attention to detail ensured that everything ran smoothly. Pablo and Paolo were both so friendly, personable and attentive to our group and each individual's needs. Finally, the Islands are spectacular! I have never experienced such diversity in wildlife, landscape and nature in one locale. We were able to witness sea lions, penguins, giant tortoises marine iguanas, birds, and fish up close, and we really felt like we were a part of their world. Each day brought a new surprise and experience that we could never have imagined. We are grateful and thrilled to have been able to visit such a magnificent place on earth. We are so grateful to our guides for sharing their wonderful and unique home with us.

I came home with thinner thighs! The biking on day one was a little too much for me, since I was not used to a bike with fat tires and shifting for the big hills (description said it was a flat 9 miles), and after the second hill, I had to quit and ride in the truck, rather than risk hurting myself and be useless the rest of the trip. My friend had sore thighs for the entire trip! Other than that, the 10-mile hike up and down the volcano in the heat was farther than I have ever walked in my life. I had a break, though, when my friend and I stayed back at the picnic area rather than walk over the lava to the little volcano, shaving 2 miles off that part. The food was great, and the choices allowed us to try different fish dishes, or have chicken if we wanted. Our group of 6 plus Jessica, our guide, was the perfect size to stay together for all parts of this trip. Kayaking was my favorite part, as this was when I saw my 1st Galapagos penguin! I loved Isabella Island, best of the 3 islands, we were able to visit during the pandemic, and felt very safe the entire time. Hotels with ocean views were beautiful, which is why we picked this tour, since we did not want to spend most of our time on a boat. The speed boat to Santa Cruz was very loud with pounding the water much of the way, so I would recommend earplugs and not sitting up near the captain, where you will get soaking wet. We didn't get to see Floreana Island, due to Covid, but the itinerary was great as it was. Having the sandwiches at the airport in Santa Cruz was a very good way to end our time with Jessica. Loved her!

This was our family's third trip with Austin Adventures. We are return guests for many reasons. Austin has great customer service before, during and after our travel. They offer tours of great locations. The trips are well run and offer activities that either would be difficult to access on our own or we would not think to do. Each time we have traveled with them, they have hit it out of the park regarding our travel experience.

After our trip in 2019, the bar was set pretty high, and again, Austin Adventures performed flawlessly. Even after the airline lost our luggage, our guide Gio did whatever he could to help us locate clothes so that we could have a great start to our trip. Fortunately, there was a nice outdoor store in Seward so that we could get a day or two worth of gear.

We absolutely LOVED our Yellowstone trip with David, Kathy, and Steve. They were amazing guides and really went out of their way to make my entire family feel special during our trip. From the little things like surprise snacks after each outing, supporting our (then) 5 year old on our hikes, entertaining the kids, to making the adults feel heard, they were going non-stop and made our trip just perfect. We didn't want to leave them, and we all missed their positive energy on the next leg of our journey. We'll definitely be back to Austin Adventures and hope to see them again on the next trip!

The trip was well planned and went very smoothly. The only setback was the booking agent told my daughter that the younger children could be pulled by the guides for the biking portion of the trip and that was not the case. She and I trailed the two, except when our guide was given permission to pull one of them when we were on a bike trail as opposed to the road. I was able to do it, but at 77+ it was not what I was expecting to have to do. I think it imperative that the people on the sales desk know what is and isn't possible so your clients are not mislead, not only about this particular incident, but about any possible questions that may arise.

Glacier NP was amazing - we're so glad that we decided to visit! The views and scenery were spectacular and biking the Going-to-the-Sun road was definitely the highlight of the trip for us. The lodging and food situation was difficult. While we appreciated staying at historic lodges in the park, the lack of A/C and thin walls meant that we slept poorly during several nights of the trip. I know that lodging in the parks is limited and there wasn't anything Austin Adventures could have done about that, but it still was challenging. The food situation was also disappointing. National Park food is always mediocre at best (and we knew this going into the trip), but having a limited menu and only takeout due to COVID made it much worse. For the two nights that we stayed in Many Glacier Valley we had to wait 45-60 min. in line just to get our fairly disgusting takeout from the lodge restaurant and then wrangle with other people to try and find a place to sit. We know this was due to COVID and staffing shortages, but it really detracted from the trip experience. However, our dinners at the Belton Inn in West Glacier and Tupelo in Whitefish were very good.
Our last Austin Adventures trip to Croatia was absolutely amazing in every way (guides, food, lodging). When compared to that trip, the Gla
