What an amazing country. The scenery never stopped. Sand boarding in the North was soooo much fun. When I saw that on the advertising clip I said this was the trip for me. Our travelling coach was comfortable and the team always smiling and ready to help. Great food and accommodations. All around a great trip!!

This was an amazing experience, with ever changing beautiful scenery (and weather). The hiking and accommodation were great, and Kim and Alicia were fantastic hosts, providing a wealth of knowledge about the country, legends, geology, plants and birds. Unfortunately part of the Milford track was closed because of avalanche danger, but this was well managed and I enjoyed a scenic helicopter ride over the pass; it's a good excuse to return!

This was the best tour I've ever been on. Tash and Irene were fantastic and super helpful in all they did. They were such hard working ladies, great driving from Tash and the cooking was fantastic! Irene is a wonderful cook! I have never been on a tour where this occurred. I will definitely miss these two ladies. New Zealand is a beautiful country with awesome scenery and much to do. I hope to come back some day to see more of it.

Koru and Shree were amazing! Koru has an amazing personality and made us feel like close friends. We enjoyed our dinner conversations with him, learning about the Himalayas but also about New Zealand. He even partook in learning some new Canadian card games with us in the evenings. He has a pleasant, caring, genuine personality and we would love to have him as our guide again.
Shree was fun as well as a wealth of knowledge of Nepal culture, politics, traditions as well as patiently and repeatedly told us the names and spellings of all the mountains. Both Shree and Koru guided us to the best deals for quality items in both Pokhara and Kathmandu. Shree organized great tours of Kathmandu.
Our porters were also very polite, attentive and fun. We had a night of dancing to native music where everyone joined in the fun. These guys went out of their way to make our trip memorable.

I was by myself for the first 10 seconds of this trip, from then on I was surrounded by like minded people from all over the world, our group all mixed really well, all ages, all different backgrounds, all different fitness levels, but we all supported and encouraged each other. Our guides were excellent, who looked after us every step of the way.

This trip has been on my bucket list for awhile. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Our guides were fabulous, our porters extremely helpful and everyone always had a smile on their faces. The views were stunning! We were looked after from the time we arrived until the time we left Kathmandu. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone.

I had a great time on my Tui trip with Holly and Fi. Weather obliterated our planned itinerary, but that didn't stop our competent (and fun!) guides from finding great alternatives. They showed us so many hidden gems of the South Island and kept us smiling the whole time. The flexibility and "role with the punches" attitude of this crew was fabulous. I would highly recommend Active to anyone who is looking for a memorable adventure.

Jessica was a great guide and keep us busy with various activities. Snorkeling was a little more advanced than I was used to {depth of water, waves, coldness, etc.}, but very interesting. I was expecting warm weather and so was surprised by the cold October weather.

Holly and Fi truly provided a trip of a lifetime! The Tui itinerary was action-packed with all the grandeur of the South Island of New Zealand. Every activity we did was amazing. Holly and Fi made the trip most memorable with their stories of growing up on the South Island and provided a beautiful inside glimpse to the culture and lifestyle. They also were a were also a wealth of knowledge on Maori legends and local flora and fauna. But most importantly, they were so inclusive, engaging and fun!!! I would travel anywhere in the world with them!! Thank you for an amazing experience!!

Loved this trek! DK, our guide was wonderful. I really felt that he would get us through any hardships that we might encounter on our journey - his connection the porters was extraordinary and i loved the fact that he was able to communicate with them in their own language. Due to his language abilities and his relationship with his team members, we were able to gather a much deeper appreciation of the culture than we might otherwise have experienced. This was my second trip to nepal and second annapurna trek and this trip was so superior to my first journey (which was not associated with active adventures) I came away from this adventure with a much deeper appreciation of the nepalese people and the himalayan mountain range. I can't wait to take another active adventures trip!

Active Adventures, and our guides Lucy and Simon, made our trip to New Zealand a phenomenal experience. The sites chosen for hiking, kayaking, and mountain biking provided some of the best outdoor scenery of the south island. Lucy and Simon were amazing hosts and cultural ambassadors for New Zealand. In terms of service and the opportunity to experience an island and country, this was by the far the best guided trip I have been on which began with the initial booking and then throughout the entire trip.
